You don't have to go back far, and I would have found it difficult to survive without Mineplex. I would be in Discord while on holiday or on the forums in the middle of classes. Back then, I had an unhealthy relationship with the server, which in the end, negatively impacted my mental health. Today I cannot remember the last time I logged into the server or had a conversation with someone I met here. I have tried to come back on several occasions and almost revived the Mineplex Client project with a talented developer in this community. But it started to consume me, and I had to escape that hole before I fell back into it. I am deeply sorry to the developer, who I left without an explanation. It's clear that the server isn't performing well in 2022, but it's still a place where hundreds of people want to spend their time. I hope it continues to provide good memories for those players, as it once did for me. I've met incredible people, had amazing experiences, and learned so much as a staff member that gave me an advantage when pursuing a career in the gaming industry. This post will probably be the last you see of me, but remember to stay hydrated and safe during these times. The world needs you friend.
