In Discussion Arena of Death

  1. So the game will have 2 teams of 8 (Red and Blue), and the teams will battle and the first team to kill 50 players in total wins. Unfortunately, if this game was implemented, AFK players would ruin your team as players can kill them repeatedly. So there will be a strict AFK timer: If you are AFK for more than a minute, you are out of the game. There is a scoreboard of kills, to keep track.



    KITS:



    Cost: Free
    Abilities:

    Damage: 7.5 (Higher than Normal)
    Armor: Leather
    Knockback: 100%



    Less Damage Taken -
    You take 10% less damage so here's the table:
    7 damage ---> 6.3 damage

    Higher Regen:
    You have 10% faster Regen!



    Cost: 2000 Gems

    Abilities:

    Damage: 6
    Armor: Leather with Golden Chestplate
    Knock Back you give to Enemies: 125%
    Knock Back Given on You: 75%


    With your golem powers, you do less knockback and have leap as you are bigger and jump higher


    Cost: 3000 Gems

    Abilities:

    Damage: 6
    Armor: Leather
    Knockback: 100%
    Knockback with bow: 125%

    Bow and Arrow:

    You receive a bow, and arrows come every 6 seconds. You can use this to hit enemies from far away!



    Cost: Achievement Kit

    Abilities:

    Damage: 7
    Armor: Golden
    Knockback: 100%


    Extra Armor:

    Instead of spawning and re-spawning in leather armor, it's Golden Armor but it never runs out of durability.

    Higher Damage Sword:
    You have a diamond sword that has Sharpness 1.







    Winner: Win 5 games in a row - 8,000 Gems
    Free Kitter: win 100 games using free kits only-15,000 Gems
    Kit Greed: Own all kits besides the achievement kit - 2,000 Gems

    Bloodlust (new, Kill 10 players in row without dying) - 7,000 Gems
    Caaaarry! (new, Kill 30 players in a single game) - 15,000 Gems

  2. First off, I'd like to thank you for coming up with all of these kit ideas, but there are too much. I do like a select few, so I'll write them below:

    Attacker
    Golem
    Skeleton (maybe rename to Archer?)
    Knight (maybe remove mini-skeleton ability)

    These four kits would function very well with the game and seem quite balanced. I would change Knight to an Achievement Kit instead of 9500 Gems.

    The game itself seems pretty fun, but this is very similar to Turf Wars. Even though it is similar to Turf Wars, it's still a fun and unique-sounding game. I like how you provide solutions to AFK players and give lots of detail on how the game works. I'd love to play this game.

    All of the achievements seem fair and fun to complete. I'm not part of GI but I'll suggest a new one and the rewards.

    Winner - 8,000 Gems
    Free Kitter -15,000 Gems
    Kit Greed - 2,000 Gems
    Too Easy! - 15,000 Gems
    Bloodlust (new, Kill 10 players in row without dying) - 7,000 Gems
    Caaaarry! (new, Kill 30 players in a single game) - 15,000 Gems

    I would love to see this game implemented! It's a fun idea and I'll be giving this a +1.

  6. This is for Bedrock correct? This game would be pretty bland on Java.

    As for balance, Attacker seems like the most dominant kit, arguably better than the achievement kit. Ranger could be possibly dominant, but it depends on the map.

  8. I don't think there should be anti-stat-boosting mechanics implemented in the game. That's not fair to people that are capable of surviving for a long time in the other team's base.
