Mob Eyeline Interactions Bugged?

Discussion in 'Block Hunt' started by a0_Oe, Sep 27, 2020.

  1. For some reason when you morph into an animal your head movements are shown on other players screens as only sideways, even if you are looking downward on your screen. This means that it is more difficult to hide your hitbox eyeline and ruins several hiding spots. As this feature seems new and nothing appeared in changelogs I was wondering if its a bug.

  2. As normal minecraft animals never turn their head up/down unless when looking at a nearby player, I believe this was added intentionally to make it easier to hide normally as an animal for newer players.

The drawback of the blue line of sight from the hitbox being harder to hide can be avoided in most spots by looking at a thick wall (2 blocks or more) and using F5 to see incoming hunters.
