  1. Hello everyone!

With the approach of a new map reset there are somethings Clans Management would like to clarify. The point of this thread is to go into detail about sharing accounts within Clans, the risks of doing so and how CM deals with sibling cases. These rulings have been passed by Clans RC which consists of @GrandpaNguyen , @Adrianna and @Flaym , with that being said all questions in regards to this ruling should be forwarded to those members.

How does CM usually deal with players sharing accounts? First of all, keep in mind sharing accounts between two players who are not blacklisted is NOT punishable. Clarifying that, that is sharing accounts with a player who is not blacklisted on ANY accounts on Clans currently, that is not punishable once again. What is punishable is if you use an account by a player who is currently banned in Clans or if a banned user uses one of your accounts in Clans. This will result in all accounts used to become blacklisted for the length that the original player who was blacklisted received for their account.

Why is this? This is due to how Clans Management works with blacklist cases. If you’re banned on clans and you share an account with someone who’s not banned in Clans, you’re risking getting your friend punished for your actions done on your own accounts. This is also the case if you get blacklisted in Clans, your brother or sisters account may be blacklisted if they login to Clans. The opposite may happen in this case too, in regards to your siblings being blacklisted from Clans causing your own account to be blacklisted also. This is because we punish via IP and not account names.

What can I do to prevent this from happening to me? Simple suggestions, do not use accounts that do not belong to you. If you do, that is the risk that you are taking. Clans Management is not responsible for distinguishing the difference between players or siblings. If you have a sibling that cheats, this is up to you to stop yourself.

Members of Clans Management do not want to see people being kept from the gamemode for sharing accounts with their friends who are banned, we can not stress anymore how important it is to keep your account to yourself. As of right now, one of the main punishments we see is players being banned for sharing accounts with others who have been blacklisted on that IP. With that being said, I hope to see everyone playing more and not having to deal with this issue. If you have any questions feel free to message any RC member for Clans listed above.
