The Mineplex 2023 GRAVEYARD-WIP

An air of uncertainty and bleakness hung over the server going into its tenth year, and just a few weeks in, things are already taking a major turn for the worse. The server's core components are falling like dominos, and the only question on everyone's mind is-what's next? Well, I can't answer that, I'm not one of the owners. But I can document everything that's happened so far (and I may cover any upsides too), and that's the point of this thread. Every time something disappears or goes wrong on the server this year (or perhaps when something goes right as well), I'll record it right here as a reference for all of you (and hopefully not end up breaking necroposting rules while I'm at it). And please, help fill me in down below when anyone in a major position leaves (for any reason), or something is removed or shut down. I can't hope to keep track of everything myself.

I'm not sure if you're talking to me here, but I never said it was shutting down, although I'd assume that's the direction it's heading. Why else would you fire the one guy who was keeping both servers alive just before he could launch some major Bedrock updates, when he's seemingly done nothing wrong? Hiring new admins to replace the ones who resigned wasn't a bad idea, but it probably won't amount to much at this point (in the grand scheme of things), while firing Timmi will have major ramifications.

I was optimistic at the start of this year, I really was, not that Mineplex would be anything like it was before, but that it wouldn't be all doom and gloom. It didn't take them long at all to to prove me wrong, unfortunately.
