Why did you start playing Mineplex, and what has motivated you to keep playing.

Hello, I haven’t posted a thread of my own for a very long time, and wanted to start an active discussion on the forums.

Anyways, I started playing Mineplex over Thanksgiving(November) of 2020. I was bored and decided to check out the servers because I had never played on any of them. I happened to click on Mineplex, and I happened to click on the game Cakewars which I instantly fell in love with. Now the reasons I’ve stayed with this server is because of the community, even though we don’t get updates often the community or the friends I have made playing the server. I keep in touch with and play with them sometimes still.

Now tell me how you found Mineplex, and what has kept you with this server or community.

 

Cool! A lot of my friends played Mineplex before I started to play but they never told me, and they weren’t in the community.

 

I used to play a lot of Hive, CubeCraft and some Galaxite, but my PS4 decided one day to stop downloading resource packs, so with every update on those servers was one less place I could go to play. Eventually, Mineplex was the only server which didn't have a single resource pack, so I'm stuck with toxic hackers, Bedrock Dev eating donuts, and a never-updating server.

 

I started October 2021 because it has Mine in the name and it has the best ping for me. The main thing that motivated me to play at the start was the skywars lb, then it was passing 1 person, then it was just havin fun with friends doin cw and pk.

 

Started in 2017 on bedrock. The server used to be really good, but I can't exactly say the same anymore. Why do I still play? I still play for my high stats and for my friends. The community is the best part about the bedrock server

 

I first joined on the 25th December 2016 when I got Minecraft Java for Christmas. I'd seen popular YouTubers play it and wanted to try it out for myself. The game I most enjoyed was Dragon Escape as I loved trying to get fast times for all the maps and just found the concept fun. If it weren't for the epic people on the build team I probably wouldn't still be here now.

 

I started cuz my friend wanted to play cwd with me and I stayed cuz mp is life!! ;)

 

I've played since 2013-2014, across multiple accounts. I was first introduced by a friend and I'd be lying if I said the biggest pull factor was anything but Bridges and SG.

What kept me here has to be annoying innocent Mineplex players by blasting them into oblivion with use of the Guardian morph

 

Mineplex was one of the first servers i ever played, around when i was introduced to the digital reality {2014}, my life was boring and repetitive without lasting relationships, i was moving houses every 2-3 years.at the time. I found myself hooked to the screen content with my condition, alone with my digital friends, and my innocence, not caring about the poverty which threatened to starve me at times.

I only linger around Mineplex out of some delusional hope that i'll be able to see it change for the better.

For me, Mineplex has always been nostalgic, even from a while ago. My older brother who's actually now 20 (14 at the time) used to play Mineplex, it was so amazing for me to watch him always play and enjoy watching him play all these amazing new games that I had absolutely 0 ideas on how to play, this was intriguing to me, I then got a new PC instead of having to play Mineplex on my brothers and this really initiated my love for Mineplex, normally getting on the server with a best friend of mine, which shocks me as we still play regularly to this day!

 

I started playing like someone else said because I got bored of singleplayer and here I am 4 years later still only playing survival
